What I’m Wearing: Scarf Print Pant

Hey y’all! I hope every is enjoying their Tuesday. I just found out that I’m getting a three day weekend and that’s definitely something to be happy about. I’m so grateful for all the love my last two posts have been given. I think of myself as a style chameleon as I can go from boho chic to prep and it’s all just different parts of my personality. I honestly think I just mesh them well.

I think today’s outfit showcases a bit of both.

I loved these scarf print wide legs pants the minute I laid eyes on them! They’re from Forever 21 and were $27.90, but I got them maybe 2 years ago. I’ve been on the hunt for a similar pair, but I’ve come up short. They’re very boho chic! When I dress myself, I follow basic rules of proportion and garment shape.

If I’m wearing a loose top I generally pair it with skinny bottoms and if I’m wearing a fitted top I can pair that with a wider bottom. It all kinda depends on the garment and the look I’m going for. What I ultimately try to avoid is the Dorothy Zsbornak look. You know? Dorothy from The Golden Girls!

I don’t want to get lost in a sea of fabrics and shoulder pads and cowl necks and gaucho pants! Especially since I’m so small. I kinda thought I’d run into that issue with this top and pant combo, but I was pleasantly surprised. I did debate doing several shades of blue with the top, pant, and shoes but I opted against it and kept it clean and classic.

My top is from The Limited and it’s actually a size too big, but there were no XS available and we only had the 1 Limited store (but now we have none and that sucks)😒 My jewelry is simple and I love bangles so I might’ve overdosed LOL. Alex&Ani on the right and Old Navy on the left wrist; Juicy Couture around the neck and in the ears; sandals from Forever 21.

Well, that’s it! Hope y’all enjoyed!
