Save the Girls…and their tatas!

Hey y’all! Long time no talk! Sorry about my absence, but I’m trying to get things figured out and I’m pretty limited by this app and my phone. I’m working on bringing more professional looking content because this iPhone isn’t cutting it with pictures and editing. My goal is to be more consistent and more polished going into the new year, so keep your fingers crossed y’all!

It’s October and as we all know it’s Breast Cancer Awareness month. I don’t know if you know anyone affected by this stupid disease, but you just hate to see your loved one(s) suffer. The thought of losing anyone is horrible, but when it’s to any form of cancer it just–it just sucks. You can’t really fathom why there isn’t a universal cure when we live in an age where there’s a friggin app for EVERYTHING! So, you do what you can to help find a cure.

Today I wore this cute top that I found at Wal-Mart to show my support. Also, portions of the purchase of this too were donated to the Susan G. Koman fund (though, I suggest you do your research about which causes you support as I’ve heard that some people take issue with SGK). This top was only $7.88 and it’s good quality 100% cotton.

I hope we all remember the importance of not saving the tatas, but saving the women they belong to. Cancer can take not only a physical toll on a person, but a mental one as well. Work to heal the whole body, not just the affected area. Support comes in many ways! I wear this top in support of all women who’ve battled and are battling breast cancer. I hope and pray for a cure to eradicate this (and all other cancers and diseases) soon. Most importantly, I wear this shirt in honor of my hero/sister/friend/faux cousin Monique.

YOU KICKED CANCER’S BUTT LIKE A BOSS 🙌🏾 all praises to the King of Kings for bringing you through it 🙏🏾
