Happy March, y’all! What finer way to celebrate the start of a new month than to talk about what I should’ve done last month?! Last month, I wanted to document each day’s outfit–yeah, that didn’t happen. Not every outfit was worth writing home about and because I just didn’t have time. So, here are the 7 (out of 29 😒) that I did have time for and are willing to take credit/blame/or even a good ribbing for–but, I’m stylish as heck even on my worst day, so a ribbing there shan’t be ✋🏿
February 1, 2016 On this day, I went for comfy and warm yet street chic. I paired my moto joggers with a hoodie from my alma mater and a pair of Timberland boots. I layered the hoodie with a denim jacket and was popping.
February 2, 2016
Here, I tried to style it up a little bit more. I wore this oversized style gray trapeze sweater with black skinny jeans and a pair of black ankle boots. I added a light leopard print scarf and my Pandora charm bracelet.
February 3, 2016
I mixed it up a bit on this day as I paired a denim button down with olive green girlfriend chinos and brown leather Ugg boots. I added rose colored bangles to the look for a small hint of color.
February 9, 2016 Two days after the Super Bowl (😂😂😂) I got to wear my Cam Newton shirt! I wore it with medium colored mid rise skinny jeans and black Nike boots. It would’ve been a great celebratory outfit had the Carolina Panthers actually won, but I love Cam so there’s that.
February 11, 2016
Love this cold weather look–mainly because I love hats. Normally, when my hair isn’t straight it’s pretty hard to wear a hat so I took great advantage. I also love a crew neck, so this navy blue crew neck sweater went well with these medium wash jeans, slouchy beanie, and my Ugg high tops.
February 12, 2016
Again, I’m loving a good crew neck sweater and my favorite color happens to be pink! I balanced my pop of pink with dark denim and my Ugg high tops. It was a pretty sweet look–perfect for casual and pulled together days. It’s not a thick sweater, so it’ll work well in the spring.
February 15, 2016
Lastly, my most ‘dressed up’ business casual outfit. I love layering–mainly buttoned down shirts with sweaters–and I love this sweater. Beige with red lip prints, it paired well with a white buttoned down shirt, brown slacks, and Ugg driving mocs. Cute and ready for business!
March will find me in a new job where I won’t have much style freedom, as I’ll have to be business casual but uniformed. This takes the guesswork out of what to wear on a daily basis, but will push me to step things up on my days off.
Also, I tried to link everything BUT not everything is an exact match. I tried to get as close as possible. I wasn’t able to link that beige sweater with the lip prints, but I did get it from The Limited.
Thanks for sticking with me!
